About RLG

DOWNLOAD RESUME HERE
Rebecca Lynn Goldfarb (RLG) fell in love with bringing stories to life when she first stepped on stage, and nobody has been able to drag her off since. A SAG-AFTRA member and EMC, she has performed on all stages and platforms including Broadway, TV, Film, Commercials, and Voiceovers.

One of RLG's superpowers is her ability to work as an understudy. This past summer, she put those skills to the test as the Female Swing in "Cinderella" at the John W. Engeman Theater. RLG stepped in for the role of Cinderella without any put-in rehearsal, and she did the same as the Fairy Godmother for multiple performances. This ability of hers was discovered when she took the stage as Gertrude McFuzz in her high school's production of "Seussical" when the actress originally cast in the role was too sick to go on. Read the full story here.

RLG thrives on bringing people together through art. In December 2022, her original play, 5 Jews in a Near Death Experience (That shockingly has nothing to do with antisemitism!) was produced by the Post Theatre Company, and she portrayed the role of “Sarah Stein.” She is also a songwriter and her single, “Crushing,” is streaming on all platforms. RLG began writing stories and songs when she was 10 and hasn't stopped creating. With enough original songs to fill an album and multiple written plays, she is excited to bring those projects to life in the near future.

More stage credits include touring with Plaza Theatricals as "Dorothy" in The Wizard of Oz and the titular role of "Cinderella," as well as performing at the John W. Engeman Theater in Northport in Beauty and the Beast as a "Silly Girl" and "Madame de la Grande Bouche," a role she understudied and went on for at the last minute. More favorites of hers include being a part of the Godspell Cast of 2032 on Broadway and performing at the New York Music Festival, The Apollo Theater, Carnegie Hall, Cyclones Stadium, and many more venues throughout New York and Long Island.

RLG was awarded the Marion Sager Youth Memorial Award in 2019 when she created the performance group Books Before Broadway to inspire audiences to read through music and entertainment. She was also a finalist for Best Actress at the 2019 Roger Rees Awards.

Her passion for the arts has led to her various experiences as a director, choreographer, and drama/music specialist at elementary schools and camps. She aspires to share her love of storytelling and encourage others to chase their dreams, since her wonderful family, friends, and teachers have done the same for her for years.
